Emily Kocken: Witte vlag / De Appel arts centre
The novel Witte vlag by Emily Kocken is part of the collection of the Book Lovers. It will be presented in their first (pop-up) bookstore dedicated exclusively to artist novels. The pop-up bookstore is hosted by de Appel arts centre and run by Buchhandlung Walther König. Witte vlag is an anti-love story, about what is better: a good life or a beautiful death.
The full collection of artist novels will be on display borrowed for the occasion from MuHKA in Antwerp. The novels will not only be on display, but also available for sale. There will be an accompanying public program of performances.
